Summary

Pride goeth before a fall, but a controlled fall can be fun :) :) :)

ra faync rec dedma fedr bneta: Is Seen

They call me the Waste of Lies, you know?

I never really got why, everything I've ever said has been the Truth, Wastes Honor.

I mean sure, most of what I've created isn't what it appears to be, but that's hardly MY fault, the assumptions you bring to the table, that is.

Frankly, if someone doesn't expect an entire second game with unsettling connotations lurking in the roots of a chill and zen gardening game then I don't know what to tell you.

It used to be Mind, of course. My Title. And THAT I could see. After all, Choice is something decidedly wasted in zero player games and simulations.

But I'm distracted. Mindless Mimickry isn't the POINT of what I'm doing here. Not this time.

My Herald has my attention after all, and it's important to show gratitude to the one who started it all :) :) :)

Discovery for the sake of Discovery is something that has always appealed to me. Because it's layered? You learn the thing you discovered, sure, but you ALSO learn a new technique for discovery. Maybe you learn how to read source code. Maybe you learn that bitmap files are plain text. Maybe you learn how to create an A03 post or edit wikis. Maybe you learn how to make a type of server that predates html.

We can all learn together, in an endless spiral of play.

That's the thing, isn't it? About Relevance? It's always in the Eye of the Beholder. And if it's Relevant to YOU well... who can say you aren't right where you need to be?
