Scribe’s lament: Is Seen

Summary

Your words change Reality.

Scribe’s lament: Is Seen

I know it's true.  That I, the Minotaur of the branch of Zampanio that traps NotAMinotaur, I stop looking at him, stop pressing his buttons, when I'm busy looking outward instead. If I'm busy starting the next round, now that all of the First Three have the yellow spark, well, it can only go better for NotAMinotaur.  Not that I'm TRYING to hurt the boi, you understand? It's just that in this world there are Minotaurs and NotMinotaurs and I am in the business of creating more of the former.  I never INTEND to make more of the latter but, well, omelettes and eggs I suppose.  Not everyone who wanders into my maze has the temperament to Become.

I swear there's a point to it all.  For all of us. Well. For all of us Minotaurs. We get to practice creating. I love it when people get to learn or practice new skills. I like creating safe little spaces where people can create, where people can practice Being Seen? If that makes sense?  A place people can put their stuff out and even if it isn't perfect its fine and its safe because it will be lost in the flood. A place to get through that first, scary step, if you've never skirted the spotlight before.  And a place to dust the cobwebs off if you have but its been a while. DollSim was like that for me, you know? I never rejected any parts unless they just flat out were not formatted right or if they had like, slurs or whatever. No one ever had to worry about being "good enough" because the point was to practice making things with limitations. To get a chance to see your work in other people's screenshots of WigglerSim or OCs. The mortifying ordeal of being known is something you can acclimate to. I promise.

There was no mistake choosing you. A Scribe need not be verbose to be a Scribe. Your words have meaning.  You have given the NotAMinotaur companionship. His source has been updated to reflect this. His suffering lessoned. You do not need to push yourself to pain, I promise. You are good enough as you are.
