Once Upon a time in 18th century Virginia, there were three brothers. They grew up as plantation owner’s sons it had good lives. One day the three brothers decided to go out into the world and make a life for themselves.
The first brother went into law practice. He managed to successful firm for many years and eventually was elected judge in Richmond.
The second brother was hired as a guard for the prisons and every day and every night he would stand in the hallway of the prison and watch the prisoners in their cells.
The Third brother became hangman working the gallows.
Eventually a plague came to Virginia and the three brothers were each taken ill. They died on the same day and were put into three great coffins.
Years pass…
A night watchman patrols the graveyard. Stopping at the three large coffins he notices that the covers of the coffins have been moved and as he looks up at the horizon, he sees a large bird like figure making his way towards Richmond.
That bird like figure has since been sealed within the earth. He is still there to this day.
